I was diagnosed with PTSD in 2015. I’m honestly grateful for it. I’m longer holding myself to blame for my symptoms. I am able to give myself compassion and permission to heal. So many my age are functional undiagnosed PTSD survivors. Let’s stop normalizing the abnormal and assigning shame where it has no place!
