Send us a Text Message.In this episode I speak into the relationship changes that have shown up durning my Caregiving journey. The way my relationship has changed with myself, with those I care give for and friends and family outside of the household.I share about the pain, and sadness I felt when people started leaving without saying a word. I speak into why I think friend and even sometimes family members started to distance themselves once my caregiving journey changed from secondary to one to full time for two. 

In this episode I speak about how I recognized how I was honoring me time in unsupportive ways and how I recommitted and reconnected to importance of what honoring myself and my time in everything in impactful, supportive and authentic ways.Diving deep into asking myself real, important, question, staying present and being real, raw about losing my way, making all the choices and recommitting to how I choose to do things and where I come from when I choose to do them.I speak to how honoring myself is all about awareness, holding myself accountable and calling myself out. As well as loving myself through it all flaws, mistakes and all. 

In this episode I have a very candid and open conversation with my Nana Adele about aging, her life, her experiences. At the ripe age of 97 she shares about joyous moments in life, as well as talking about the experiences of war and how she continues to see history repeat itself over and over again. Expressing about the importance of loving people for who they are and getting out of own way of being righteous, proud and afraid of others differences.She really expresses conversations and her thoughts of getting older and what it has been like to depend and receive support in ways as she has gotten older. A deep dive in to the personal experiences and the mind of someone who has lived a long life and how we as human beings and a society can do better to honor, respect and care for the older generations but also love, honor and respect all human beings on this earth. Adele Tullo mother of six, grandmother of twelve, great grandmother of 13. Has lived through the great depression, World War two, The Korean War, the Civil Rights Movement, and  Vietnam just to name a few. Enjoys playing the piano, doing code-word puzzles, putting puzzles together, reading clive cussler novels and going to church. A woman who is loved by all that know her, a great storyteller, someone who shares from the heart and loves people for who they are completely. A one of a kind, passionate, spirited, warm hearted human being who I am luck enough to call my Nana. 

Keisha Greaves shares about her journey getting diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy and how it helped full her passion with fashion to make accessible clothing and swimwear. Also starting a scholarship fund to help students in the fashion world who also are inspiring to make more accessible clothing lines.She dives deep in to how humanity as a whole can do better to include everyone to support all humans to  live their best lives through accessibility in wide ranges of ways. Through loving themselves and bringing about confidence of self.Awareness is so important and this episode Keisha covers how we can learn, grow and support this community of people. It's on all of us to make this country, this world a more accessible place for all. A place where everyone can thrive. 

Victoria speaks about the importance of connecting to your full and true self through it all. Building awareness and diving deep to the importance of Authentic Affirmations. Kathryn Martin shares about her journey becoming a caregiver in new ways to her son who was diagnosed with a Rare Cancer in June 2021 and passed away in October 2021.  She talks about the inspiration her son Johnathan has left in the world and how his life was the inspiration for her and her husband to create Melanated Melon a Non-Profit Organization that brings awareness to end childhood cancer and support those efforts in many different ways.
