Emily is an American former figure skater and Olympian.  She competed at the 2006 Winter Olympics. She then was the 2007 U.S. National silver medalist. After retiring from Figure Skating, Emily attended Harvard University and earned her Bachelors degree in Sociology. Her professional career began as a Consultant at Deloitte. After Deloitte, she worked at a handful of reputable companies, including Google, Johnson & Johnson – where she was the Director of Strategy and Operations in the Health Tech division, and Meta – where she spent time in sports-league partnerships and product marketing. Now, Emily works as a Business Lead at Grandstand– a sports tech startup that is connecting athletes and fans in a more meaningful way.  In this episode, we cover the following topics:1.
