Commissioned by Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts and generously supported by the Mellon Foundation, North of Never showcases seven people from the African diaspora experiencing weightlessness on a zero-gravity parabolic flight for over seven cumulative minutes. The film features video footage of the flight, along with interviews where the participants share their unique experiences. They discuss ideas of the chaotic nature of freedom, what it is to be lost in one’s own body, and the collective phenomena of this moment. Artist Kambui Olujimi, and Vice President of Artistic Programming at Lincoln Center Jordana Leigh, will host a talkback following the premiere.  “What happens when boundlessness is not an anomaly but the context of our existence?,” says Kambui Olujimi.  #NorthStaratLincolnCenter
