Caitlin Lacey recently became Senior Director of Product Marketing for Niantic’s AR Developer Platform, if Niantic sounds familiar it’s because they’re the creators of Pokemon GO. Niantic was previously a startup within Google before being spun out as very much its own company, and they are leaders in the augmented reality field. Caitlin spent years at Facebook, now Meta, later leading their AR/VR marketing, and in this episode we talk about her work on Lightship, Niantic's AR developer platform, including their work SuperBloom AR created with Historic Royal Palaces in the UK.
