Bree and her husband , with their two young children, live on the Island of Caye Caulker, off of Belize. Bree and I talked about the good simple living on the Island, how to go slow and live not just vacation, and what's involved with getting certain necessities from Belize city, via a water taxi. As I mentioned during the interview there's a difference in bein a Black expat expat versus a white expat and that entails the abundance of joy that's experienced. In general, living on the Island is like living on paradise, the population is small, the food is amazing and always fresh, there's ton of seafood. Bree talked about how her husband found the island for their vacation one year and knew after returning home, they wanted to return and live. Bree mentions that the spirit called them and they're so happy they listened. The cost of living in Belize compared to the US dollar is lower , and the visa process is very simple.
