Darlings, this time has been so wild. So many of us who are super sensitive souls, need a lot of support when things get this hard. This week, Sophia brought in Michael Boyle, the Depression Slayer, for his expert teachings. Michael has an extraordinary collection of tools that help him and he so generously shares with all of us. Even if depression isn't a label you fit inside, his advice is pertinent for everyone who wants more care in their lives. This week they talk about: The faith journey that caterpillars go on, turning into goo with no idea what a butterfly is or what kind of life is in store for them. The main tool for mental health maintenance, which is, well, maintenance. Michael talks about it like a garden that needs to be cultivated every day. "Just keep weeding and seeding." This time which is so wild makes normal garden maintenance much more like gardening during a monsoon and it can be so sane-making when we treat it as such.
