Jen Kwok is a Chinese-American writer and comedian.  Armed with a velvety voice and razor-sharp wit, Jen combines music, comedy and improv to create a refreshing spin on daily life.  Jen’s work has been featured by The New York Times, PBS, ComedyCentral, BuzzFeed, and Rolling Stone Magazine.  Most recently, Jen can been seen on Netflix’s Friends From College.  A versatile live performer, Jen was a national finalist in NBC's Stand-Up for Diversity and has appeared at such venues as:  The Kennedy Center, Joe’s Pub, Caveat, WNYC’s Greene Space, Highline Ballroom, Le Poisson Rouge, Ars Nova, Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre (UCBT), The People’s Improv Theatre (PIT), and more.  She has also performed and hosted events everywhere from colleges across the country (featured at NACA Northeast, Mid-Atlantic and South), to fundraising and corporate events for Asian-American Women’s Giving Circle, American Cancer Society, TimeWarner, and Ogilvy & Mather. An active member of the Asian-American performing community, Jen has hosted Kollaboration NY & DC, as well as curated and co-hosted the Asian-American Writer’s Workshop’s Mouth to Mouth series.  Jen's most recent live music project, Songs for One, is a unique, intimate experience where she performs concerts for one single person at a time.  Jen shares how it was difficult for her growing up with no Asian American role model to look up to but working on her craft as a performer and putting herself out there gave her the response of confidence that keeps her becoming the woman that she is today.
