In 2013, Gigi wrote and directed the hit musical play, ROOM 105: THE HIGHS AND LOWS OFJANIS JOPLIN. The play starred Sophie B. Hawkins in the title role and was held over for an extended run  in Los Angeles. She also directed Sophie in the movie The Cream Will Rise. Sophie and Gigi were partners for many years. Before Gigi was born, her mom Teddy was married to J.
